The creator of REVIVAL, brings you Platform Artist Protégé

What is it?

Platform Artist Protégé is a virtual competition showcasing hairstylists who aspire to be professional platform artists and have not yet gotten their lucky break!

How does it work?

Contestants submit a 3-5 minute video presentation on any topic of their choosing, using a live model or mannequin. All videos will be compiled onto a page where viewers can vote online for their favorite.

Preliminary Round: Voting will be done by peers who will choose their one favorite artist. The Top 10 Artists after voting will move onto competing in the Live Virtual Event, Platform Artist Protégé

Top 10 Contestants will be paired with a Coach/Mentor prior to the live event to polish their presentation skills.

Coaches and Protégés will be paired at random.

They will meet with their coach via ZOOM to prepare a presentation for the live event.

Live Event:

On Sunday, April 25th, we will gather virtually for the live event where the Top 10 Contestants will each present for 15 minutes.

Tickets to the live event will be $27 and all proceeds go to The ABS Fund.

The audience will vote for their favorite presenter during the event using an online voting platform.

There will be First, Second and Third prize winners.

What does the winning team receive?

First prize Winner gets 2 Free Tickets to America's Beauty Show - Chicago, 2 Night Accommodation AND gets to teach a full class at America's Beauty Show - Chicago!

Second and Third prize Protégés get a guaranteed spot at the Open Mic during America's Beauty Show - Chicago as well as 2 Free Tickets to the Show!

The winning Coach receives 2 Free Tickets to America's Beauty show and 2 Nights Accommodation.

Coaches

This event gives you the opportunity to showcase your expertise as an educator while offering mentorship at the same time!

This fun and interactive event will provide connection and visibility for your brand.

Coaches have the ability to promote their latest workshops, programs and opportunities by offering digital bonus gifts to attendees (optional) This is an excellent list building opportunity!

It can be as simple as a 1 page opt-in of your top tips, a pre-recorded video introducing yourself and your program, or a discount code for a future event...

Time Commitment: Offering a 1 hour coaching session to the contestant you're paired with prior to the live event as well as your attendance at the live event.
